...Jean-Marie..you are perfectly correct in assuming that the rest (whoever
that is but include me yes) is knitting...can't you hear my knitting needles
rattling????? ratatatatatatata.......pause for consulting
instructions....ratatatat....shit, dropped one....start again..ratatata.....
Come on Jean-Marie...I know exactly that your secret wish is to have the gift
to knit and really you wanted me to give you a knitting pattern but I will not
be as generous as in giving you the complete knitting pattern of my favourite
sock, the "Rainbow Sock", it s a secret and no one masters it except for me,
since I got nothing else to do in this world, knit knit knit....(in poetry this
would rhyme quite nicely with lots of things!).
Since I am a kind person I will help you a bit...by giving you the instructions
for making the toes!! So, read this carefully and enjoy!
Toe Shaping
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Row 1: k1, M1, k4. Using another dpn, k4, M1, k1. Using a third dpn, k1,
M1, K4. Using the fourth dpn - K4, M1, K1. You should now have 4 live needles
in your work, each with 6 stitches on it.
Row 2: Knit all stitches on the first needle. Mark the first stitch on
the second needle by inserting a scrap of yarn or safety pin in it as you knit
it. This marks the center bottom of the sock. Knit all stitches on remaining
needles.
Row 3: *k1, M1, k5. K5, M1, K1* repeat
Row 4: Knit
Row 5 and subsequent odd rows: Continue adding one stitch after the first
stitch of the first and third needles, and one stitch just before the last
stitch of the second and fourth needles.
Row 6 and subsequent even rows: Knit.
When you have 12 stitches on each needle (48 stitches total) the toe is
done.

:-)))))))))))))))))))) OK??
Yours friendly,
Maria
PS: I don't know why I keep reading cirquezavatars emails because I twist my
brain to understand you lot sometimes, it must be that I am in need to
demoralize me from time to time. Even my eagerness to consult my crap
dictionary does not prevent me from not being capable of putting two and two
together. But still, I keep trying....je vais y arriver :-))) ...as Miguél in
Faulty Tower says: EVENTUALLY, IN THE END, FINALLY.........

CLARO QUE NO !
